PAT Testing For University

Students have an awful lot of portable appliances!

Mobile phones, laptops, plug adapters, extension cables, audio & video equipment, hairdryers, tongs – not to mention the Breville toasters, toasters, panini presses, juicers, coffee machines and kettles that are often gifted by family and friends.

Many items are also purchased from online marketplaces, where fake goods can easily be purchased unknowingly.
Due to the fact that fires are often caused by electrical goods, sparking plugs and exploding phone chargers – more and more halls of residence and universities are requiring students to have PAT tested equipment and insurance.

We know it’s tough to be a student! Students also only need one or two items tested – which can make a minimum charge for 10 items expensive

Which is why we are offering a drop in student discount of £3.50 per item for 1 – 10 items

Simply make an appointment – visit our workshop, wait in your car or come in for a coffee and hey presto – all PAT tested with a certificate and report to show that your items have been tested by a city and guilds level 3 qualified PAT tester!
